Earth Science - Berean Builders (High school)
This course will leave students in absolute awe of God’s creation! We cover everything from rocks, minerals and fossils ( who doesn’t love fossils!) to weather, the universe, and much more. Dr. Jay Wile, the author and I are young, earth creationists and we let students know our bias up front. But, Dr. Wile has done an excellent job of sharing the data and then the interpretation from both sides…the old earth and the young earth scientist.
We share our bias, the pros and cons of both views, and let the students decide for themselves. We want students who can think for themselves. We do not seek to indoctrinate them to our views. I encourage the students to discuss what they are learning with their parents and pastors. The goal is to give students the information they need to defend their views on the age of the earth and evolution.
Class meets for 90 minutes once a week.
