  • DragonSlayer Online Science Courses is not affiliated with any religious denomination, but is non-denominational. It is not our purpose to teach church doctrines to students. That is the job of the parents. We do however teach science from a biblical creation viewpoint. The God of the bible created all things and we show scientific data/evidence to illustrate that fact.

  •  An honors course criteria is determined by the educational institution offering the course.

An AP course set by a national standard for all educational institutions.Students can purchase study guides and practice tests. No need to take an AP science course filled with evolution.

An individual can register for AP tests even if their school doesn't offer the course, but you can't register directly; you must find a local high school or test center that administers exams and coordinate through their AP Coordinator, using the College Board's AP Course Ledger to find a location and arrange to take the exam as an outside student. Contacting the AP Coordinator at a participating school early in the school year (before the fall deadlines) is crucial to get set up and pay fees.

Steps to Register as an Individual:

    1. Find a Test Center: Use the AP Course Ledger or contact College Board AP Services to find nearby high schools that administer AP exams.

    2. Contact the AP Coordinator: Reach out to the AP Coordinator at that school as early as possible in the school year.

    3. Arrange Testing: Confirm they will allow you to test as an outside student, as schools have their own policies and deadlines.

    4. Pay Fees: You'll pay the exam fee (around $94-$99, depending on location/timing) directly to the coordinator.

    5. Get Your Code: The AP Coordinator will set you up in the system, potentially using a homeschool code if applicable, and provide access information.

    Key Things to Remember:

    • No Direct Registration: You cannot order exams yourself from the College Board.

    • Deadlines are Key: Schools set their own deadlines, often in the fall, so act early.

    • School's Discretion: A school isn't obligated to accept outside students, so be prepared to contact several locations.

    • Self-Study is Fine: You don't need to take the AP course to take the exam, but studying the course description is recommended.

  • No, we have not sought accreditation for our Live Classes. We offer our classes to independent homeschools as a resource for the parents.
